Childish Gambino announces first tour in 5 years, releases reimagined 2020 album with new songs

NEW YORK (AP) 鈥 Donald Glover's musical project Childish Gambino has returned with a reimagined album and a new tour announcement.

Early Monday, Glover that 鈥淎TAVISTA鈥 had hit streaming platforms 鈥 and that the record is actually 鈥渢he finished version鈥 of an album he released in 2020, 鈥3.15.20.鈥

On March 15, 2020, a number of new Childish Gambino songs dropped on , but were quickly removed. A week later, 鈥3.15.20鈥 was officially released with guest appearances including , and others. It, too, was eventually removed from streaming platforms.

Monday's full-length release includes two brand new tracks, 鈥淎tavista鈥 and 鈥淗uman Sacrifice," according to a press release. Young Nudy and have new guest spots on the album.

To celebrate 鈥淎tavista,鈥 Glover dropped a music video for 鈥淟ittle Foot Big Foot,鈥 directed by (his longtime collaborator also known for work on the television shows and 鈥淪tation Eleven鈥) and starring Rob Bynes, Monyett Crump and others.

Glover has also announced 鈥淭he New World Tour,鈥 his first tour since 2019. His run begins on Aug. 11 in Oklahoma City and will hit many major North American cities before heading to Europe, the U.K., Australia and New Zealand.

The tour ends on Feb. 11, 2025 in Perth, Australia.

Openers include WILLOW ( musical moniker) . Tickets go on sale Friday.
