Directions

BY CAR

• From New York City via the Long Island Expressway (I-495):
  Take the Long Island Expressway (I-495) east to Exit 39; turn left onto Glen Cove Road. Travel for 2 miles and turn right on Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) and go 1.6 miles to LIU West entrance campus entrance. Follow the signs on the left to the CVM building.


• From New York City via the Northern State Parkway (Grand Central Parkway):
  Take the Northern State Parkway to Exit 31, turn left onto Glen Cove Road and travel north for approximately 4 miles. Turn right on Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) and go 1.6 miles to LIU West entrance campus entrance. Follow the signs on the left to the CVM building.  


• From southern Queens or Brooklyn:
  Take the Cross Island Parkway, the Clearview Expressway, or the Brooklyn-Queens Expressway north to the Long Island Expressway (I-495) east and continue to exit 39; turn left onto Glen Cove Road. Travel for 2 miles and turn right on Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) and go 1.6 miles to LIU West entrance campus entrance. Follow the signs on the left to the CVM building.


• From the Bronx, Westchester, and points north: 
  Take the Throgs Neck Bridge to the Cross Island Expressway south. Exit to eastbound Long Island Expressway (I-495). Then follow the directions above for "From New York City and points west via the Long Island Expressway."

BY TRAIN

The Long Island Rail Roadoperates out of Pennsylvania (PENN) Station in Manhattan, Flatbush Avenue Station in Brooklyn, and Jamaica Station in Queens. LIU Post is conveniently located near the Hicksville (Port JeffersonRonkonkoma branches) and Greenvale (Oyster Bay branch) stations on the Long Island Railroad, and then take a taxi or the Long Island Bus N20 to the LIU campus.

BY BUS

• LIU Post is serviced by the Metropolitan Transit Authority (MTA), . The bus stops on University Drive at two designated locations on the north side of Campus. (University Drive runs parallel with Northern Boulevard. The N20 connects to the New York City subway system (# 7 line), several Long Island Rail Road stations, and other buses serving Nassau, Suffolk and Queens.


• From JFK International Airport, take the Belt Parkway east to the Cross Island Parkway north to the Long Island Expressway (I-495) east and continue to exit 39; turn left onto Glen Cove Road. Travel for 2 miles and turn right on Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) and go 1.6 miles to LIU West entrance campus entrance. Follow the signs on the left to the CVM building.


• From LaGuardia Airport, take the Grand Central Parkway east, which becomes the Northern State Parkway to Exit 31; turn left onto Glen Cove Road and travel north for approximately 4 miles. Turn right on Northern Boulevard (Route 25A) and go 1.6 miles to LIU West entrance campus entrance. Follow the signs on the left to the CVM building.
