VCS faculty members offer courses that prepare veterinary medical students to achieve day 1 professional competence or continue further specialty training. Faculty members offer courses in anesthesiology, animal behavior and welfare, diagnostic imaging, equine medicine, exotic animal medicine, laboratory animal medicine, large animal medicine and surgery, small animal medicine and surgery, veterinary professional skills courses, and clinical training of students during 4th year clerkships in collaboration with the Distributive Veterinary Educators Consortium (DVEC). DVEC faculty hold adjunct appointments.
