Innovations in Veterinary Medical Education

91泡芙 Lewyt College of Veterinary Medicine faculty pursue research that promotes excellence in teaching innovation and scholarship. Research on novel teaching methods focus on assessment tool validation, development of new learning resources to support different learning styles, and evaluation of teaching technology effectiveness in the acquisition of required professional competencies by Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) students. Faculty whose research focus is in the area of Medical Education include Drs. Gillian Angliss, Carmen Fuentealba and Oscar Illanes.

• Early immersion effectiveness on development of competency in the various facets of veterinary practice
• Impact of deliberate practice on early clinical competency acquisition
